Job Overview

Packing operatives play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. As a key member of our packing team, you will be responsible for efficiently packing rice and egg products into designated packaging materials, adhering to product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inspect products for quality before packing and discard any damaged or substandard items.
  2. Label packages with necessary details, including product information, batch numbers, and expiration dates.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate logging in the system.
  • Notify the supervisor of low stock levels to prevent delays in production.

Quality Assurance and Hygiene

  • Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and storage of products.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with production and logistics teams to facilitate smooth order fulfillment.
  • Assist in resolving issues or bottlenecks within the packing workflow.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in food packaging or warehouse operations is advantageous. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods while lifting packages up to 20-25 kg is also essential.

Desirable Skills

This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow company guidelines, and adherence to industry standards. Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other relevant regulations is desirable.
