**Job Overview:**

BW EPIC KOSAN MARITIME PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Marine Operations Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the implementation of marine activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting safe and efficient vessel operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Analyse reports on safety, SIRE/CDI inspection, PSC inspections, internal audits, near misses, incidents/accidents, and advise vessels accordingly.
  • Monitor changes to SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, Class, Flag State, Oil Major, and other applicable requirements, and plan their implementation on vessels.
  • Conduct internal audits on ships to identify areas for improvement and verify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and conduct training for officers and crew on various aspects of vessel operations.
  • Review and respond to safety and other reports received from vessels.
  • Assist Fleet Manager, HSE & Compliance on marine and safety-related issues on vessels.
  • Carry out management inspections to identify quality assurance issues.
  • Liaise with stakeholders such as Class, Oil Majors, Ship Owners, Suppliers, and others.

**Requirements:**

  • Master Mariner with 1-2 years' sailing experience as a Master on Ethylene/Ethane/LPG Vessels.
  • Ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call lifestyle.
  • In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations governing vessel management.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Independent, outcome-driven, organized, and resourceful with strong team orientation.
