Heritage Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Heritage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality reports, conducting site surveys and archival research, and liaising with clients to deliver excellent schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce heritage assessment reports, including Heritage Statements, Statements of Significance, Environment/Heritage Impact Reports and Building Recording Reports.
  • Undertake archival research and prepare desk-based assessments.
  • Conduct site-walkover surveys, archive and library visits.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to help deliver great schemes and identify opportunities to enhance historic environment.
  • Work with other professionals, including designers, engineers and environmental specialists, to benefit clients and the environment.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Built Heritage or Architecture (or equivalent). Other Built Environment Degrees (in Building, Conservation, etc.) will be considered.
  • Minimum Two (2) years working experience in the Built Environment or Built Heritage Environment.
  • A good understanding of Southeast Asia history.
  • Class 3 driving license is desirable.
