**Job Description**

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Security Solution Architect. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities, and Critical Infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architectures. They will be able to lead a software team and manage external subcontractors effectively.

The selected individual will work closely with product/solution architects to create and implement the product/solution development roadmap. They will ensure that all work adheres to the client's software development methodologies and processes.

We are looking for someone who is proficient in relational databases, such as MS SQL, and has experience with Angular, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, and Apache Kafka. Knowledge of virtualization, containers, Docker, and Kubernetes is also essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for thoroughly documenting design to ensure usability, supportability, and maintainability of the developed solution. They will also provide strong and timely support to IVVQ teams and site deployment, operation, and maintenance to ensure 24/7 system operational needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience and expert knowledge of Java, Spring Boot backend development, lifecycle of scalable micro-services-based architectures
  • Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
  • Experience in leading a software team and managing external subcontractors
  • Experience in SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, relational databases (MS SQL), and scripting languages (JavaScript)
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for web applications
  • Experience with setting up continuous integration (e.g., GitLab CI)
