Senior Dental Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental professional to join our specialist team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a vital part in assisting specialists with advanced clinical and dental procedures.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, sterilizing, and managing specialist dental instruments with precision and care.
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control during specialist treatments, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Casting models and handling lab cases for advanced treatments, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ensuring patient comfort throughout specialist treatments, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Performing administrative tasks with professionalism in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff as needed, leveraging your leadership skills and expertise.
  • Assisting with inventory management for specialist instruments, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, assisting in specialist procedures such as endodontics, orthodontics, or prosthodontics.
  • Strong ability to work independently, with excellent decision-making skills and proactive initiative in a specialist environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills for patient care, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • High attention to detail in infection control and handling specialized instruments, with a focus on maintaining high clinical standards.
  • Leadership skills to mentor junior staff and maintain high clinical standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Familiarity with specialized dental procedures, equipment, and materials is required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting, with a focus on remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
