About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance for facility services, working closely with contractors to manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk assessments, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the maintenance team in carrying out daily rectification and repair work for facility services, including leakages, electrical issues, and equipment maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to service calls from other departments regarding maintenance issues, troubleshooting breakdowns and defects.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure all facilities maintenance works are carried out with minimal disruption to business operations, adhering to safety measures and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and supply chain optimization.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in facilities maintenance, preferably with experience in the golf or leisure industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, colleagues, and senior management.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality control, ensuring high standards are maintained across all aspects of the job.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
