Freelance Special Education Instructor

We are seeking a qualified freelancer to provide one-on-one academic instruction to students with learning or special needs.

  • The successful candidate will develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning style, abilities, and goals.
  • Support in literacy, numeracy, language development, or subject-specific content will be provided, adjusting methods as needed to overcome challenges.
  • Specialized teaching techniques and resources will be used to support students with conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), or other learning difficulties.
  • Regular assessment of student progress and adaptation of teaching methods will ensure consistent improvement.
  • Effective communication with parents and caregivers will be maintained, providing regular updates on the student's academic progress and strategies for continued learning support at home.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree or diploma in Special Education, Education, or a related field is required.
  • Certification in teaching special needs students or experience working with children with learning or developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of special education strategies, individualized teaching approaches, and inclusive learning techniques is necessary.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching primary and/or secondary subjects to children with learning difficulties is advantageous.
