Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the upkeep, monitoring, and maintenance of our Plumbing/Sanitary, Pool, and Water Feature systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, lead, and control assigned section's activities in the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of Mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for planning, overseeing execution, and controlling overall predictive, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of Plumbing/Sanitary, Pool, and Water Feature related equipment.
  • Carry out periodic inspections on all respective systems, plant rooms, and equipment within the property to ensure they are in good and operable condition.
  • Maintain all operating permits required for facility operation.
  • Timely updates of operational status and KPI progress such as CM/PM completion, budget utilization, system status, and project progress.
  • Standard Operating Procedures development.
  • Plan, administer, and execute improvement projects relating to Plumbing/Sanitary, Pool, and Water Feature systems.
  • Assist Project Manager by reviewing all A&A projects works related to Plumbing/Sanitary, Pool, and Water Feature systems.
  • Conduct inspection for all new Development's plumbing/sanitary installation.
  • Review and implementation of innovative technology for productivity, sustainability, and constant improvement.
Requirements
  • Holding at least a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent qualification.
  • Licensed Plumber and/or Water Efficiency Manager certification is an advantage.
  • Have a good command of English.
  • At least three to five years of solid hands-on practical working in any Integrated Resorts, Hotels, Conference and Exhibition Center, and/or Shopping Mall providing Operations supports and maintenance of Mechanical plant and systems.
  • Possess good understanding on the Mechanical systems consisting of Plumbing, Sanitary, Pool, and Water features operation.
  • Able to interpret Schematic and layout drawings.
  • Computer knowledge of IBM Maximo System and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of local regulations, standards, and ordinances on operations and maintenance of Mechanical systems.
  • Have an intimate knowledge of all major systems; their operation and potential weaknesses.

  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
