Senior Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in menu development, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and ensuring the optimal usage of ingredients to minimize food wastage.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, basic food hygiene and workplace safety certifications, and excellent communication and multitasking skills. They must also be passionate about delivering great food and service.
Responsibilities:- Develop menus that incorporate innovative and unique ideas, taking into account current market trends and demands.
- Sources high-quality and fresh ingredients as well as cooking instruments required.
- Optimizes ingredient usage and minimizes food wastage in the restaurant.
- Tastes final dishes and provides constructive comments to elevate quality.
- Educates kitchen staff on best practices, culinary knowledge, and techniques, emphasizing hygiene and food safety.
- Educates front-of-house staff on recommendations to suggest to customers, including food and beverage pairings.
- Provides feedback on the overall ambiance and layout of the restaurant to ensure performance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Takes part in special events and curates time-limited menus.
