The Scientific Technician - QC will be responsible for supporting the development of materials, technology modules, products, and processes within feasibility studies, business cases, and projects. This role requires a strong understanding of scientific principles and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Recruit Express Pte Ltd. as a Lab Technician. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of materials, technology modules, products, and processes within feasibility studies, business cases, and projects.
  • Manage raw material supply and inventory, conduct experimental work, and execute lab or pilot trials.
  • Continuously improve and maintain lab procedures, documentation, and training.
  • Contribute to invention disclosures to drive innovation.
  • Maintain internal networks with a focus on operational aspects.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to apprentices, trainees, and new hires regarding lab procedures.

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QC testing or a similar role.
  • Proven technical comprehension with a strong foundation in scientific principles.
  • Keen attention to detail for performing experiments and analyzing results.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and working in chemical labs (preferably in a clean room environment).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
