Senior IT Infrastructure Leader

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Manager.

  • Job Description:
    • Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives, driving organizational growth and success.
    • Ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future needs through effective monitoring and proactive upgrades.
    • Oversee the administration of servers, networks, storage, databases, and cloud systems, guaranteeing timely backups and seamless patching.
    • Provide end-user support, including laptops/desktops, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems and services.
    • Lead the deployment and support of on-premise and cloud-based servers and network infrastructures, promoting scalability and reliability.
    • Implement robust cybersecurity controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality.
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response plans, ensuring operational resilience.
    • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the IT infrastructure team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
    • Handle vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and manage IT budgets effectively, optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
    • Manage cloud services (e.g., AWS) and virtual environments, ensuring high network availability and minimal downtime.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields, with at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
    • Strong knowledge in network administration, server management, cloud platforms, virtualization, and cybersecurity, with relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure).
    • Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing technical teams, with expertise in complex problem-solving and strategic planning.
    • Effective verbal and written communication of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, with a focus on clear and concise messaging.
