Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
About the JobThis position requires a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering with experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of computer and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal and external users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical services to maintain and troubleshoot different computer and electrical systems. This will include performing preventive and corrective maintenance work, attending and carrying out fault finding and diagnosis of system breakdowns, and following up and closing all incidents and issues in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of computer server maintenance, network troubleshooting, basic software troubleshooting, Firewall, Backup solution and Anti-virus solution. A diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant working experience are required. Possession of a Class 3/4 license to operate a vehicle for onsite support is also necessary.
About the Role- Main Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled standby and night duty as required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times
- Operate company vehicles to perform site work at stipulated working hours
- Provide day-to-day onsite and remote support on Computer Servers, Communication Equipment, Networking, Hardware and Software Systems
- Assist in IT related projects and activities (such as implementation, upgrades, changes, maintenance, and routine backup work)
- Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities
