Job Title:

Freight Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive logistics professional to manage our global freight operations. This role requires coordinating shipments, resolving operational issues, and ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor logistics service providers' performance to ensure shipments are executed in the most cost-effective manner within the stipulated shipping window or arrival date.
  • Collaborate with logistics service providers to explore solutions on freight issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Perform purchase order validation and seek necessary approval in accordance with guidelines.
  • Provide guidance to suppliers on required processes and documentation for shipment arrangement.
  • Prepare and follow up on necessary documents for shipment execution.
  • Perform daily track and trace to ensure prompt update of shipment status.
  • Promptly communicate with internal stakeholders on shipment status and react to route problems in a productive manner.
  • Request freight quotations and ensure billings are made accurately against approved rates.
  • Ensure inbound delivery details are generated in systems accurately and on-time for inbound shipments.
  • Liaise with regulatory teams and warehouse teams to ensure effective inbound and outbound goods movement.
  • Raise shipping claims against logistics service providers and follow up with divisions and logistics service providers on claim resolutions.

Requirements:
  • Diploma with minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Highly organized and deadline-oriented
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel
