Job Description:

The Commissioning Marine Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all construction & commissioning activities related to Marine discipline. This includes facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project HSSE, Quality, and schedule requirements.

This position requires the ability to ensure that all construction & commissioning activities of the Marine discipline are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedule, in compliance with HSSE & Quality standards.

  • Coordinate and supervise daily site operations, including workforce management, material handling, and equipment usage.
  • Lead site inspections, tests, and verifications of Marine discipline's systems and equipment.
  • Manage and implement changes to the Marine discipline's plan or scope of work during the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of discipline activities, including progress reports, HSSE records, and quality control data.
  • Monitor progress against the project timeline and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement and enforce HSSE protocols and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Manage and mentor construction & commissioning supervisors and team members to uphold high standards of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required for this position. Relevant experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction & commissioning processes in the relevant discipline, and practical leadership experience on-site are also essential.

  • Specialized skills include Inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring of Mechanical Static Equipment, Third-party relation management, and Construction, commissioning, and quality strategy development.
  • Technical understanding and management of Mechanical Rotating Equipment, HSSE-Q&R-OE leadership, Design and execution technical understanding, and Planning and coordination skills are also required.
