DevOps Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to take on a challenging role in our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high system availability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, streamlining the software development process and reducing deployment time.
  • Administer and maintain artifact repositories using systems like JFrog and Nexus, ensuring secure and reliable storage of application artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
Requirements:
  • Possess a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of strong DevOps experience with extensive knowledge in CI/CD pipeline and artifact management.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and proficiency in artifact repository management systems such as JFrog, Nexus.
  • Strong Linux administration skills and shell scripting expertise.
  • Experience in software engineering in at least one of these programming languages - JavaScript, Java, Python, .NET.
  • Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm (Relevant certifications are a plus).
  • Experience in AWS with solid understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management (AWS certifications are a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with diverse engineering teams.
  • Strong team-player mindset, focused on leveraging experience to help the team succeed.
  • Passion for advocating and implementing best practices in software engineering and DevOps.
