Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AECOM. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the administration of projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Administration: Establish client requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Site Management: Attend onsite meetings and liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure that projects are progressing as planned.
  • Cost Estimation: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs and prepare tender and contract documents.
  • Contract Administration: Administer pre and post contract work, including the preparation of interim valuations, cost plans, and budget studies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that any defects or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience within pre and post contract in consultancy environment.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
