**Job Title:** Occupational Therapist Specialist

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Freelance Occupational Therapist, you will work with children to improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's needs and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on improving daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, and play skills.
  • Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to engage children and promote their participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective strategies are applied across various environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.
**Requirements:**
  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Previous experience working with children with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, particularly in a one-to-one setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and occupational therapy interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to working with children and their families.
