Job Description:
As a clinical nurse, your primary responsibilities will include handling day-to-day operations and nursing functions. You will handle phone call/email enquires in a timely and professional manner, assist doctors during consultations/surgeries and undertake scrub duties. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe working environment, observe strict infection control practices and perform general nursing procedures including injections, dressing and dispensing of medication. Your role will also involve liaising with administrative staff for license renewal, inventory management, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers as needed. Furthermore, you will conduct ward rounds to ensure continuity of patient care, provide patient education and counselling, and perform ad hoc duties assigned by the Medical Director and/or Specialist Surgeon.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organisational, meticulous, and detail-oriented individuals with preferably at least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting are highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential for success in this position.
