Biological Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Biological Control Specialist to manage insect husbandry and breeding programs for predatory and beneficial insect species.

The ideal candidate will oversee insect rearing facilities, ensuring optimal colony health, productivity, and quality control. They will also design, implement, and monitor insect release programs in commercial farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of biological control agents.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to farmers on insect release, crop management, and IPM strategies.
  • Monitor pest populations and plant health outcomes to optimize release schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial insect breeding, IPM, plant cultivation, or biological control.
  • Knowledge of horticultural production systems and field research experience.
  • Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, Entomology, or equivalent qualifications.
