Job Title: Store Technician

About the Role:

The Store Technician plays a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our retail stores. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining store equipment, fixtures, and appliances to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and implementing preventative measures.
  • Supporting new store setups and layout changes by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintaining tools and managing stock of maintenance supplies to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinating with external vendors for major repairs and servicing, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Managing supplier contact lists and coordinating quotations and service schedules to achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Handling invoice management and documentation for maintenance-related work accurately and timely.
  • Responding to emergency repair requests in a prompt and professional manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in general maintenance, preferably in retail or F&B, with a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and travel across islandwide store locations, are essential.
  • A physically fit individual who is willing to handle manual tasks and able to lift heavy objects when necessary is ideal.
  • A valid Class 3 or 3A driving license allows for convenient transportation between store locations.
