AWS DevOps Engineer Job

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of internal engineering productivity tools and environments.

You will provide DevOps architecture implementation and operational support, including architecture and planning for cloud deployments (Private and Public cloud). You will also be responsible for ensuring extremely high levels of automation, availability, scalability and resilience in our technical environments.

In addition, you will develop and operate continuous integration and deployment pipelines, as well as monitoring automation to effectively detect, predict and prevent issues in the environment and code base.

As a hands-on coding and mentoring expert, you will work in a pair programming environment and collaborate with other teams to build quality environments. Your ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in DevOps automation, containerization and orchestration using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and Docker. Strong scripting skills, such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, are also required.

Familiarity with cloud computing deployment and management experience - AWS is necessary, as well as understanding and practice of Agile projects. An understanding of networking is also essential.
