Electrical Engineering Project Coordinator

This role is responsible for assisting engineers in project coordination, including site surveys, tender documentation, and progress payment preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to interpret technical specifications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers with project coordination tasks, including site surveys and tender documentation.
  • Monitor and inspect ongoing electrical works, including rewiring and the installation of fire protection systems.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients to ensure successful handover and takeover of switch rooms and M&E installations.
  • Detect and troubleshoot faults or defects during project execution or client inspections.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to plans and completed on schedule.
  • Prepare simple electrical single-line diagrams and interpret technical specifications.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the engineering team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A background in electrical engineering or a related field is essential, with experience in project coordination and management an advantage.
