We are a leading construction company seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a rewarding opportunity for an ambitious professional to lead and develop the estimation function of the company, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of estimates to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust estimation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in delivering estimates;
  • Lead and manage a team of estimators to achieve high-quality outputs and meet project deadlines;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and project management, to ensure alignment and effective communication;
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to drive productivity and efficiency;
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of the competition;
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to estimation and bidding;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including estimating metrics and KPIs, to inform business decisions;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide thought leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in a senior leadership role;
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time and within budget;
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating and developing teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to learn new software quickly;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Knowledge of construction law, regulations, and industry standards, including ISO 19650.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for career advancement.
