Job Description:

As a Product Development Strategist, you will be responsible for driving the growth of your product category through strategic planning, commercialization, and operationalization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure that our products deliver the best value and experience for our customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prioritize new product opportunities based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis
  • Source, build, and maintain relationships with partners to design and manufacture new product models
  • Lead and drive product development, conduct consumer and market research, define product requirements, lead and drive product launches, develop and maintain user manuals, and manage product roadmaps and timelines
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy considering global opportunities and target customers
  • Partner with software development teams on product requirements and oversee smart home integration for the product category
  • Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success
  • Drive innovation within product areas with industry trends and best practices
  • Ensure senior management is up to date with reports and communication on the progress of the product category
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Management, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or Finance)
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience in B2B product management with ability to independently lead the agenda
  • No fear of the unknown; analytical self-starter comfortable with complete uncertainty
  • Data-driven with ability to structure, quantify, and qualify information on product research and present it to stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen understanding of the wider environment and implications of trends, shifts in sustainability, and consumer perception
  • Detailed-oriented with strong project management skills on multi-market projects
Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
