Incident Response Specialist

As a seasoned Cyber Security Operations Center professional, we are seeking an expert Incident Responder to join our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and contain cyber security incidents across all phases.
  • Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of system accounts, networks, and malware samples.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology teams within Major Incident Management frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain response strategies for severe incidents and critical attack scenarios.
  • Cultivate effective communication streams with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform technical analysis and triaging during incident investigations.
  • Collaborate closely with Cyber Intelligence teams to ensure adequate response capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts in advanced incident response techniques.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in incident response operations or security operations roles in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven expertise in investigating data breaches and leading investigations to resolution.
  • Ability to design and write runbooks for frequently occurring incidents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a natural ability to lead complex technical investigations.
  • Extensive experience performing cyber incident response and root-cause-analysis.
  • Technical understanding of enterprise networks, protocols, and their components.
  • Strong forensics skills, with an understanding of chain of custody requirements.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
  • Proficiency in the cyber kill-chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
  • Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, SANS GIAC, OSCP) are highly desirable.
