Strategic Human Resource Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team at TANGLIN CLUB.

SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
Job Description- Recruitment and Staffing: Lead and oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and the seamless onboarding of new hires. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and devise effective recruitment strategies. Ensure compliance with industry-specific requirements when hiring talents.
- Employee and Industrial Relations: Lead and guide HR executives to address staff concerns and resolving workplace issues. Implement strategies to maintain a positive workplace culture in a highly competitive environment. Manage employee relations and union matters and participate in union negotiations, to achieve collective agreement.
- Training and Development and Culture: Identify skill gaps in the workforce and develop training programs to enhance technical and soft skills. Collaborate with Heads of Department to create and deliver industry-specific training. Conduct in-house orientation and staff wellness programs.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to attract and retain talents. Assist in preparation and computation of benefit disbursement for approval. Stay updated on industry salary trends and ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Operations: Monitor changes in labour laws and industry-specific regulations and update HR policies in accordance with Employment Act and Government Regulations. Design, implement, and optimize HR shared service and adjunct operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performance Management: Establish performance evaluation processes that consider technical competencies, project achievements, and industry-specific key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist in career development planning for employees. Administrate the performance evaluation system; reviews including all phases of the moderation to conclude the final rating.
- Bachelor degree / Graduate Diploma in HR Management / Diploma in Learning and Development at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a hospitality industry.
- Solid knowledge of the Employment and Industrial Relations Act.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal relations skills.
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong counselling with good listening skills.
- Learning & Development background will be an advantage.
