Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our finance and administrative operations during a maternity cover period. This role is ideal for candidates with accounting background and experience in both accounting and administrative support.

The Temporary Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the full spectrum of accounting functions, including: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger entries.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and verifying all retail collection payments, preparing and processing payments to suppliers, liaising with vendors regarding invoice or payment-related matters, preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly financial reports, responding to enquiries from retail outlets via phone or email, generating staff purchase invoices and maintaining proper records, preparing monthly Overtime (OT) reports, reviewing and verifying staff leave records for accuracy, and providing general administrative and office support as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Levels / Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • Must have accounting background or at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
  • Prior experience in accounting or administrative support is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MYOB accounting software
  • Possesses basic accounting knowledge and is familiar with standard bookkeeping processes
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous, well-organised, and able to manage time effectively
