Job Opportunity: Piping Design Specialist

The company seeks a skilled Piping Design Specialist to support the plants in detailed design and 3D modeling of piping systems, equipment, and associated structures in various engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of international standards and industry best practices in piping design, stress, and material suitability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement piping designs that meet project/plant requirements and safety standards.
  • Conduct field checks to validate the integrity of proposed piping designs.
  • Lead and conduct 3D model reviews, site walkdowns, and manage external piping designers.
  • Administer advanced software tools like Aveva E3D with the global piping team.
  • Participate in change management processes for piping-related changes.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and relevance of piping changes.
  • Ensure piping designs adhere to safety standards and project/plant requirements.
  • Provide technical support for plant engineers resolving piping issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineer or related).
  • Comprehensive work experience (>10 years) in piping design.
  • Strong understanding of international standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience in coordinating and mentoring junior designers and plant engineers.
