Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with Gen Z's interests, while maintaining a balanced content calendar. This includes developing attention-grabbing content formats such as infographics, videos, posts, brochures, presentations, and long/short-form content to encourage enrolment.


Transforming formal research findings into engaging social media-friendly content is also key. The candidate should be able to adapt research papers, case studies, and whitepapers into dynamic content pieces like blogs, articles, social media posts, emails, and short-form videos that spark curiosity.


In addition to this, the successful candidate will use data-driven insights to design content formats that attract attention while ensuring academic rigor. They should also be able to translate complex data into clear, concise language suitable for a broad audience.


Staying up-to-date with social media trends and using them to increase the reach and impact of research-based content is essential.


Responsibilities include managing and engaging with our social media community daily, responding to comments, questions, and interactions related to our research content.


Using social media platforms to spark conversations, engage followers, and share research insights is also crucial. Building a community around research topics, encouraging discussions and follow-up interactions is vital.


The ideal candidate will also be responsible for optimising all content for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic. Ensuring digital content is SEO-friendly, focusing on attracting relevant audience traffic and increasing click-through rates is essential.


Monitoring and analysing content performance across social media platforms is critical. Providing regular reports on content performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement is also important.


Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy, collaborating with internal teams to ensure messaging alignment, and staying ahead of industry trends and best practices in content creation and social media management.


Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in content creation, strong writing, editing, and communication skills, experience developing social-first formats for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, knowledge of Gen Z's social media behaviour and preferences, experience with SEO, content optimisation, and analytics tools, and familiarity with content management systems and creation tools.
