Shutdown WorksLead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure timely completion of shutdown work.
Cross-Functional MaintenanceWork closely with various sections to coordinate cross-functional maintenance works.
Risk AssessmentPerform risk assessment prior to start of work and conduct on-job risk assessment to identify residual risks associated with planned/unplanned work.
Spare Parts ManagementMonitor spare parts and inventory for critical instrumentation to ensure availability when required, minimizing unplanned outages.
Procurement InputsProvide technical inputs in full cycle of procurement processes for materials and service requisition to ensure all technical requirements are addressed properly.
Process ImprovementIdentify, study, propose, and implement areas for improvement in the field of instrumentation engineering to enhance operations and improve overall equipment reliability.
Supervision and Quality ControlSupervise on-site contractors/additional supplier's C&I technician(s) as well as C&I vendors to perform site works, review their work procedures, and instructions to ensure compliance and achieve the highest quality of work in a safe manner.
CMMS and PlanningPopulate inputs into the Computerized Materials and Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured. Provide inputs to Planning Engineer with regard to instrument maintenance activities for consolidation.
Requirements:- Education and Experience
Possess a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least three years of working experience in the instrumentation field, or a diploma in the same fields with at least seven years of working experience in the instrumentation field.
Codes and StandardsProficient in codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc.
Interpersonal SkillsStrong interpersonal skills, a team player able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff.
Field InstrumentationHands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes.
DCS and HMI SystemsProficient in power plant DCS and HMI systems, specifically experience with ABB Advant DCS, GE Alspa DCS will be an advantage.
PLC Control SystemProficient in any power plant PLC control system.
PID and Gas Turbine OperationsProficient in the P&ID, loop diagram, process functional flow diagram, and familiar with gas turbine/steam turbine operations and protection concepts.
Cyber SecurityCyber security knowledge in Operation Technology will be an added advantage.
