Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Quality Specialist to join our organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of supplied components and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing, delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement new supplier qualification processes, including capability matching, risk assessment, self-assessment, onsite audits, and database management.
  • Understand customer requirements and specifications to provide value-added engineering proposals for optimization of supplier manufacturing processes or products.
  • Implement PPAP (FAI) including FAI, material certificates, quality/process control plans, FMEA, MSA, process parameter sheets, RoHS compliance, reliability tests, COC, etc.
  • Track new qualified parts quality performance to ensure meeting customer quality requirements in pilot run phases, drive supplier corrective actions, and smoothly transfer pilot runs to mass production.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to help with supplier quality hot issues and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with purchasing engineers and supplier systems to ensure smooth operations and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure supplier selection, development, approval, and rejection according to organizational guidelines and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of experience in supply chain quality assurance in the high technology electronics industry or a related field. The following skills may be required: Electronic Assembly, color code, component, schematics, various PCB operations, Testing, oscilloscope, cable and harness testing, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer, Inspection, bare board, systems, components, cable and harness, microscope, measuring tools, Mechanical & Electrical Tools, taps and dies, alignment tools, measuring tools.
