Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Global Logistics Customer Service Specialist.

Job Description

This position involves providing exceptional customer service to clients across various industries, ensuring timely communication and resolution of daily trucking status. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to handle complaints and feedback professionally, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum GCE 'N' level qualification and at least one year of experience in the logistics industry. Knowledge of Portnet, Yard, and Trip Management Systems is beneficial, as is proficiency in basic computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and follow up on daily trucking status
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally
  • Liaise with shipping lines or agents for empty container returns/collection and cost details
  • Coordinate with internal departments and customers/consignees regarding depot or transport matters
  • Plan delivery schedules according to customer requirements
  • Prepare billing once the job is completed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE 'N' level qualification
  • At least one year of experience in the logistics industry
  • Knowledge of Portnet, Yard, and Trip Management Systems
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
