Key Challenges and Opportunities

We're hiring a computer vision expert to co-build next-generation workflows for perception AI. You'll own technical experiments and publish evidence around synthetic data for perception and autonomy.

This role involves focused, execution-heavy work. You'll collaborate with leaders to define vision, conduct research, and share results with the industry. Key responsibilities include designing credible evaluations of synthetic data, productizing workflow for perception AI, collaborating with major perception companies, conducting science, and communicating it effectively.

Qualifications

  • Ability to design and run high-quality experiments that resonate with real ML teams, driving product and customer decisions

  • Strong understanding of applied research supporting real products and users

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to distill complex technical concepts into actionable insights

  • Strong ML fundamentals, especially in computer vision, model evaluation, LLM/VLMs, and data analysis

  • Academic background in AI, Computer Science or related field (PhD or Masters)

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning in Big Tech or Startups

  • Experience in developing benchmarks, authoring white papers, leading research initiatives, and presenting at premier conferences
