Job Overview

The role of a Chief Compliance Officer is pivotal in ensuring the company's regulatory obligations are met.

  • Design and implement effective compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with regulators, partners, and stakeholders to address queries and concerns arising from AML and compliance activities.
  • Monitor new services and product launches to guarantee compliance with existing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact where breaches or violations of compliance obligations occur.
  • Lead internal and external audits of compliance and regulatory processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a regulatory compliance role.
  • Relevant experience in payments, fintech, banking, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage compliance and regulatory matters independently.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing policies, SOPs, systems, and internal controls for regulatory compliance programs.
  • Preparing regular regulatory performance reports for management.
  • Conducting internal training sessions on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Providing support to other legal and regulatory team members regionally.
