Job Description

We seek an experienced professional to join our enterprise risk team and contribute to protecting and enhancing our client's third-party risk framework. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing vendor and third-party risks, with a strong background in enterprise risk management within financial institutions.

The role involves working closely with multiple departments to ensure thorough risk assessment and control processes, providing critical insights and acting as a steward of best practices in third-party risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure alignment and compliance with the Vendor-Managed Services Policy across the organisation.
  2. Support the Outsourcing Committee and assist engagement owners in assessing risk levels for vendor engagements.
  3. Conduct comprehensive due diligence on vendors, including assessing performance, operational controls, and security protocols.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders on resolving issues identified during due diligence or audits.
  5. Lead independent reviews to ensure adherence to vendor management policies.
  6. Support broader enterprise risk management functions, such as risk assessments, root cause analysis of incidents, and process improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a solid background in third-party vendor and outsourcing risk management.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, such as MAS guidelines on Outsourcing, Technology Risk, and Business Continuity.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and deliver concise, actionable insights.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to make sound judgments, backed by data, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in building relationships and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen our client's risk management landscape, especially within the rapidly evolving area of outsourcing and third-party risk.
