Job Title: Horticulturist

Job Summary:

Landscape Engineering PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Horticulturist to lead the execution of landscape maintenance portfolios for softscapes and hardscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute landscape maintenance schedules, manpower, and equipment according to contract specifications.
  • Attend to clients' requests, meetings, and provide creative solutions for landscape issues.
  • Conduct monthly site assessments to inspect horticultural practices and landscape quality requirements.
  • Prepare site reports to detail observations and recommendations for internal and external submission.
  • Establish reporting norms for supervisors and gardeners to follow and report site progress and issues.
  • Enforce workplace safety and health regulations for landscape maintenance on site.
  • Coach and guide gardeners on performance expectations and tackle landscape challenges.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Horticulture or related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Result-oriented personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem solver and team player with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Immediate availability or ability to start work within short notice is an advantage.
