Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloudera Engineer to join our team. This role involves deploying and managing Cloudera Private Cloud (CDP) clusters, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux commands, file permissions, ownership, and shell scripting. Experience with Python, SQL, and data-in-transit encryption is also required. Additionally, knowledge of networking protocols, DNS, NTP, and port management is necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP authentication is a plus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Cloudera Private Cloud (CDP) clusters. They will also monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity planning. Furthermore, they will configure and manage Kerberos, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and TLS/SSL encryption. Implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for users and services is also a key responsibility.
