We are seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team as a nurse or healthcare assistant in our COVID facilities. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to patients who require 24-hour monitoring, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.


Job Responsibilities:

Monitor vital signs every 6-8 hours for patients transferred from A&E with COVID-19 positive but lower risk of progression.

Attend to unwell patients' symptoms and anxiety by providing emotional support and reassurance.

Respond promptly to possible clinical emergencies that may require resuscitation, always prioritizing the patient's safety.

Perform routine nursing duties such as patient monitoring, point-of-care testing (POCT), and documentation of any abnormalities or concerns.

Ensure seamless handover to next shift nurses, maintaining accurate records and escalating any issues accordingly.

Adhere to high standards of infection control practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), disinfectant methods, and maintaining a clean environment.

Supervise and provide feedback to other stakeholders/team members on appropriate use of PPE and other infection control practices.


Requirements:

Minimum Nitec / Diploma in Nursing with valid nursing certification required. Non-nurses must possess relevant working experience in healthcare (hands-on healthcare).

Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts is essential.

Comfortable donning PPE during working hours.
