Senior Security Infrastructure Specialist

At Assurity Trusted Solutions, we are looking for a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team.
">- A key responsibility of this role is to design and implement robust security infrastructures that ensure the protection of endpoints from cyber threats.
This includes developing and maintaining policies in Endpoint Protection (EPP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems to detect potential security risks. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to translate business, technology, and security requirements into actionable roadmaps for EPP/EDR enhancements and rollout.
You will also be responsible for performing maintenance on enterprise security infrastructures, ensuring service and security posture upkeep. Furthermore, you will provide expert security consultancy in areas such as threat and risk assessment throughout the system lifecycle from implementation to maintenance.
In order to succeed in this role, you will require strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as extensive knowledge of operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows. Experience in implementing EPP/EDR systems, as well as possessing relevant security certifications, would be highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions between internal teams and external partners. You will also need to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be comfortable working in a dynamic digital and cyber landscape.
