System Automation Specialist

Evaluate customer needs and technical specifications to ensure all critical details are captured accurately.

  • Design, develop, and construct industrial automation software following industry best practices.
  • Perform comprehensive unit testing and debugging to guarantee functionality, reliability, and safety of equipment control systems.
  • Develop precision tuning guides and implement interlock and anti-collision logic to enhance performance and safety.
  • Manage software project lifecycles from inception to completion by coordinating tasks, schedules, communication, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct thorough peer reviews of software products to maintain high code quality and adherence to established standards.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for Field Service, Quality, and Design teams to ensure consistent and efficient tool operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in industrial automation software design and development using PLC and C#.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and environments such as Ladder Logic, CoDeSys, TwinCAT, or other IEC 61131-3 compliant platforms.
  • Experience with SECS/GEM communication protocols and vision system coding is a plus.
  • Experience in developing industrial automation and control system software is preferred.
