Job Overview:

Fraud & Investigation Analyst

As a skilled Fraud & Investigation Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into corporate fraud and financial crime risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crime risks, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers.

You will also be responsible for compiling and documenting case review findings and recommendations on account strategy to minimize fraud and financial crime risks.

Maintaining accurate records and statistics to track team workload and performance is another key aspect of this role.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into corporate fraud and financial crime risks.
  • Review account transactions to identify potential red flags and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather information and clarify account transactions.
  • Compile and document case review findings and recommendations on account strategy to minimize fraud and financial crime risks.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead to discuss account strategy and ensure timely reporting and escalation of significant risk issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Economics or Law.
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in investigations and/or audit, preferably within the Banking Industry or in law enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT concerns.
