Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Governance

DBS Bank Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Group Human Resources team as a Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Governance. In this critical role, you will be responsible for fostering positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and driving a high-performance organization.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Develop and implement practices and programs to promote positive employee relations and engagement.
- Ensure that employee relations strategies and decisions are fair, inclusive, and compliant with employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and HR Relationship Managers to resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances and misconduct cases.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure that the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Govern the Bank's employee grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Track, analyze, and interpret employee conduct metrics.
- Assist management with the execution of compliance programs and audits.
- Collaborate with the in-house legal team to coordinate documentation related to HR employment litigation.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment policies, practices, and employment law and regulations.
- Experience coaching, consulting, and advising employees, HR, and business stakeholders.
