Job Title: Field Inspection Specialist

This role is for a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in field inspections and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refinery operations and be able to effectively carry out inspections in accordance with company standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking job assignments, reporting to the office as required, and being available for training sessions. They will also be responsible for following detailed instructions from senior surveyors and knowing each job scope and duties assigned.

Key responsibilities include carrying out proper reference sampling of various liquid and gas cargoes, conducting inspections for loading, discharging, and STS transhipment with supervision, and measuring shore tanks, ship tanks, and ascertaining volume and weight of cargo according to standard methods of calculation.

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' work experience in the testing and inspection industry, preferably in oil and gas, and hold a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. A good understanding and knowledge of refinery operations relating to inspection activities are essential.

Other requirements include being contactable when on the job and on stand-by, and having a salary commensurate with experience and skills.
