Science Support Role

This is an entry-level full-time opportunity in a school setting, where you will work closely with teachers to prepare materials for Science lessons and maintain the cleanliness of laboratories.

  • Responsibilities include working with Science level reps to prepare materials, assisting in invigilation of practical exams, and maintaining stock records and equipment lists.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety practices in Science rooms and performing routine servicing and maintenance of equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • We are looking for individuals with specific knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemical preparation, and disposal procedures.
  • BASIC computer knowledge including MS Word and Excel is also required, as well as basic knowledge of classroom procedures.
  • Ability to document and summarize information, pay close attention to detail, and give advice and guidance is necessary.
