Job Title: Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage ocean freight pricing strategies and negotiate rates with carriers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop market analysis and provide advisory services to support sales teams in securing competitive rates
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners, including carriers and suppliers
  • Support Trade Lane growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for rate optimization
  • Monitor price trends in the Asia region and analyze market information to inform pricing decisions
  • Negotiate ocean freight rates for Intra-Asia and global trades, working with carriers' HQ, RHQ, and local offices
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in ocean freight within the international freight forwarding industry, 3PL, or ocean container liners
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive rates and develop strategic partnerships
  • Experience managing ocean products, especially for Asia to Europe, Mediterranean, and Africa trade routes
  • Ability to analyze market information related to ocean liners and develop data-driven pricing strategies
