Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our team. As a physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the community, grounded in Islamic values and compassion.


About the Role
  • You will conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs, using evidence-based practice to inform your decisions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, goals, and resident preferences, taking into account medical history and resident feedback.
  • Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities, to support residents' recovery and well-being.
  • Assess and manage residents' pain through various techniques, such as electrotherapy and heat/cold therapy, ensuring effective symptom management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based rehabilitation programs and protocols, promoting best practices in patient care.
  • Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring seamless communication with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution, with valid licensure or registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience as a physiotherapist, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting, demonstrating expertise in physiotherapy principles and techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of physiotherapy principles, evidence-based practice, and regulatory requirements in healthcare, with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory requirements in healthcare, ensuring compliance and best practices.
