Cyber Security Expert Wanted

Are you a highly motivated cybersecurity expert looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for protecting businesses from cyber threats?

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations consultant to join our team. As a Cyber Security Operations consultant, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, building, implementing and managing security solutions for our clients.

This is a role where no two days are the same – so you'll find yourself taking on plenty of new responsibilities as you go. You'll work alongside clients and colleagues, balancing your time between developing security strategies, advising stakeholders, providing workshops and supporting business development.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Assess, design, build, implement and manage security solutions for our clients
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to develop security strategies and provide workshops and training sessions
• Support business development and ensure that all security solutions meet the highest standards

Skills and Attributes for Success
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
• Experience with network security monitoring and incident response activities
• Ability to process impacts of activities and collaborate with IT operations and Cybersecurity teams on mitigations and remediations
• Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and writing skills

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
• A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Preferably with 2 years' experience in business consulting role in a leading consultancy firm
• Strong interest in the field of information security
• Creative, independent with good problem-solving skills
