Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional to join our team as an Surgical Theatre Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in clerical and administrative duties, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and figures.

The Surgical Theatre Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the theatre, ensuring that all charges are accurately interfaced to the billing system. This includes verifying surgery charges, following up with vendors and colleagues for charging issues, and collaborating with patients and business office personnel for billing matters.

In addition to their administrative responsibilities, the Surgical Theatre Coordinator will assist with procurement and management of operating theatre supplies and equipment. This includes assisting on procurement matters, obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, arranging delivery, processing invoices and delivery orders for billing, and working with inventory levels for stock and non-stock items.

The Surgical Theatre Coordinator will also be responsible for daily updates of OT listing schedules to surgeons, maintaining charge forms and charge codes in the Operating Theatre Reporting System, ordering pantry and stationary supplies, and printing implant cards for patients who have had implant surgeries.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical and administrative duties
