Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a cook/cleaner in a childcare setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the overall well-being of our children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children.
  • To maintain a clean and hygienic environment throughout the kitchen and surrounding areas.
  • To assist with daily cleaning tasks and ensure the centre remains tidy at all times.
  • To work collaboratively with other staff members to provide high-quality care and support to our children.
  • To adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a childcare or food service environment.
  • Excellent cooking and cleaning skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to follow health and safety procedures.
