Senior Smart Home Automation Technician

The Installation Specialist will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and testing of CCTV systems, NVRs/DVRs, and smart home automation equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setup & Configuration: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems, NVRs/DVRs, and smart home automation equipment.
- Network Setup: Configure network settings, including IP addressing, port forwarding, VLANs, and firewall rules.
- Integration & Support: Integrate CCTV systems and smart home devices with cloud platforms and third-party services.
- Verification & Documentation: Perform system verification, calibration, and performance checks. Maintain accurate documentation of device configurations, network maps, and system credentials.
- Strong understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT).
- Experience with networked CCTV systems, IP cameras, and NVR/DVR software.
- Familiarity with smart home platforms.
- Proficiency in mobile and desktop apps for device control and surveillance.
- Knowledge of router setup, PoE switches, and wireless access points.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and training.
